For National Public Lands Day<\/a>*, Friends of Glen Providence Park will again plant native trees and shrubs in the glen, this time on the Mountain Laurel Trail.<\/strong> This is our 11th annual NPLD project, working to improve wildlife habitat, reduce erosion, and beautify the park! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our planting day is one of our most popular and fun events, and we are a part of the largest nationwide volunteer effort for public lands! <\/strong>We are incredibly grateful to Delaware County Parks & Recreation<\/a><\/strong> for providing funds for this project, and to the Delaware County Conservation District<\/a><\/strong> for the use of its Conservation Planting Trailer and supplies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To help us plan our time effectively, and to plan for refreshments, we ask that you RSVP for this event \u2013 please let us know the number of volunteers in your party.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
